NJL Ventures LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates the Odin Eye website and mobile app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address, display name, and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile info returned by Google OAuth.
  • Preferences: your selected state, email subscription toggle, and other in-app settings.
  • Usage data: AI feature usage counts (for rate limiting), pages viewed, and technical logs (IP address, browser, device type) used for security and reliability.
  • Cookies: we use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and personalize the Service (e.g., state-specific briefs);
  • Send transactional emails you request (e.g., the morning rundown);
  • Enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, and secure the Service;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models.

3. Subprocessors

We share limited data with the following service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage;
  • Lovable — hosting and infrastructure;
  • Google — OAuth sign-in (only if you choose it);
  • Google (Gemini) — AI summary and brief generation;
  • FRED, BLS, FHFA, Realtor.com, public RSS feeds — public market data (no personal data shared).

4. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You can request deletion at any time.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at odineye@odineyeapp.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. You may still submit access or deletion requests using the email above.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; use the Service at your own risk.

7. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
